TWICE‘s Jeongyeon overcame Cushing’s syndrome and found her old self.
Jeongyeon posted several behind-the-scenes photos of the photo shoot on her SNS on the 26th. Earlier on the 25th, Jeongyeon’s photo shoot was released on the official SNS of the fashion magazine Harper’s Bazaar.
This photo shoot is accompanied by Jeongyeon and her older sister, actress Gong Seung Yeon. In the released photo, the two are posing with various facial expressions in front of the camera.
In particular, Jeongyeon, who had battled Cushing’s syndrome in the past, showed a healthy appearance reminiscent of her previous activities, revealing her missing face and unique angular beauty.
Jeongyeon was diagnosed with Cushing’s syndrome as a side effect after taking steroids during the treatment of a neck disc in 2020, and suffered from weight gain. In the tvN entertainment show “You Quiz on the Block”, Gong Seung-yeon, who aired last month, talked about her struggles with the disease, causing regret.
